She is survived by: her adoptive parents, Filmo Lopez and Maria Escalante of Lopez; her close friend Randall Wilkerson; her children, Arlene Lopez, Lizzette Hatfield, Johnathan Maldonado and Miguel Maldonado; and her sisters, Karen I. Lopez-Easterling (Shane) and Daisy Parrilla (Jose). She is also survived by eight grandchildren, aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
