He was predeceased by: his father Dale Doak; his stepmother Catherine Doak of Citra; his mother Frances Doak of Ravenna; and his siblings, Orval Doak of Superior, Leroy Doak of Ravenna and Leola Doak of Canton.
He is survived by: his wife Barbara; his children, Tami Burger (Eric) of Ravenna, Todd Doak (Cathy) of Randolph and Trent Doak (Laura) of Brunswick; his grandchildren, Tabitha Bayless of Suffield, Todd Doak II (Jenny) of Randolph and Remington Doak of Randolph; his great grandchildren, Trey, Ryleigh Bayless of Suffield, Makayla and Alex Doak of Randolph; and his children, James A. Doak, Jr. and Stephanie.
