She was predeceased by: her parents, William Majors and Nancy Louise Majors (Clements); and her husband James R. McPherson. She is survived by: her children, Ken McPherson, Rick McPherson, Deborah Tryon and Amanda Todd; and her siblings, William Majors and Jan Cain. She is also survived by 12 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren.
