He is survived by: his wife Linda Tharp (Dean); his sons, Windle Thomas Tharp and David Allen Tharp; his sisters, Gloria M. Tharp Scott, Anita Tharp Gilbert, Mary Frances Tharp Golden and Joyce Ann Tharp Woodham; and his grandchildren, Kylie Nicole Tharp and William Thomas Tharp.
