With profound sadness, we say goodbye to William R. Corbus of Chipley, Florida, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. William left this world on January 9, 2025 at the age of 91, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by: his mother Alice Kirkland Corbus; his sister Olive Corbus Abel; and his brother-in-law Reed Abel. He is survived by: his wife Jean Lucas Corbus; his daughters, Judy Corbus of Chipley and Lorie Corbus Geller (Greg); his grandchild Marigold Geller of Santa Fe; his niece Barbara Abel Burkland; his nephews, Owen Abel and Douglas Abel; and his great-nephews, Nicholas Burkland and John Burkland.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, February 8th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the First Baptist Church (1300 South Blvd, Chipley, FL 32428). A memorial service will be held on Saturday, February 8th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
In honor of his life and memory, in lieu of flowers, donations to First Baptist Church Chipley Building Fund or to the charity of your choice would be appreciated by the family.
