He was predeceased by: his parents, Clarence Broom and Annie Laura Sapp Broom. He is survived by: his wife Sue Shores Broom; his son Michael Broom (Kristi Hardy Broom); his granddaughter Emily Broom; and his sisters, Helen Myers of McMinnville and Dorothy (James Fowler) of Graceville.
