He was loved and cherished by many people including: his mother Janie Redmon; his grandparents, Lloyd and Mary "Peggy" Redmon of Chipley, FL; his wife Paula Wright Smith; his children, Shane Smith, Sydni Smith, Shelbi Brown (Jimmy), Sara Smith and Seth Smith; and his uncle Jeff Redmon (Connie). He was also cherished by five grandchildren.
