She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles Henry and Doralie Cumbie Shumaker; her husband William "Bill" Fielding; her son Michael Fielding; her sisters, Naomi Shumaker Foust, Evelyn Shumaker Peoples and Peggy Shumaker Pettis; and her half-siblings, Mona Shumaker Curtis, Annie Mae Shumaker and Jack T. Shumaker (Homer A. Shumaker).
She is survived by: her daughter Patti Peel (Sheldon); her grandchildren, Kevin Peel (Laurie), Joshua Peel (Amanda), Maria Showalter (Don), Nathan Fielding (Tenille) and Shawn Fielding; and her great grandchildren, Harley Peel, Joseph Seaborn-Fielding, Kaelob Fielding, Elliott Fielding, Maddie Peel, Layla Showalter, Abbey Peel, Ellee Peel, Mason Showalter, Jaxon Peel, Ean Peel, Aiyson Peel and Auston Peel.
Visitation was held on Monday, March 10th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM at the Brown Funeral Home (1068 Main St, Chipley, FL 32428). A funeral service was held on Monday, March 10th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location. A graveside service was held on Monday, March 10th 2025 at the Glenwood Cemetery.
