He is survived by: his wife Doris Miles; his children, Richard Miles Jr, Vicki Henderson, Gina Elmore of Graceville and Kathie Birge of Marianna; his sisters, Juanita Turner and Salatha Lassiter; and his stepchildren, John, Terry Henderson, Gene Galloway and Patricia Ann McCarthy. He is also survived by seven step grandchildren and one step great grandchild.
