She was predeceased by: her father Stephen Russ; and her husband James Schmidt. She is survived by: her mother Peggy Ellis Russ of Chipley, FL; her children, James Schmidt (Anastasia) of Tampa, FL, Jill Hawk (Chris) of Dothan, AL and Rebecca Rich (Adam) of Chipley, FL; her siblings, Stephen Russ (Marion) of Crawfordville, FL, Janice Lipinski (Leonard) of Wisconsin, Patricia Anderson (Charles) of North Carolina, Kathleen Brandt of Tampa and Barbara Delucca of Chipley; and her grandchildren, Christopher Hawk, Tyler Hawk, Jesse Hawk, Troy Schmidt, Emma Rowan (Cody), Alexis Schmidt and Matthew Burnett.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital in her honor.
