She was predeceased by: her parents, Clayton Sowell and Roxie Sowell (Parker); her husband Edgar S. Searcy; her children, Jimmy Hancock, Deborah Plante and Joanne Hancock; and her sister Frances Nelson.
She is survived by: her daughter Johnnie R. Sharp of Chipley, FL; her brother Roy Sowell (Debbie) of Southport, FL; her grandchildren, Tracy Kyser (Jodi), Kali Carr, Jason Hancock (Christine), Tonya Phillips (Robert), Shawndra Holley (Lyman) and April Sjoken (Allen); her sister Brenda Foxworth (Willie) of Chipley, FL; and her daughter Kimberly McRoy (Robert).
