She was predeceased by: her grandparents, Lena Sasser (Darby), James D. Sasser, Edna Kent (Dilmore) and Clarence Wesley Kent; and her great-aunt Nellie "Nell" B. Dilmore.
She is survived by: her husband Eric Rodriguez of Tallahassee; her parents, James Burton Kent and Martha Bowen Kent of Cottondale; her siblings, Carol Kent Wyatt of Chipley and Jonathan Wesley Kent of Cottondale; her friend Kristin Clenney; and her pet Scooter. She is also survived by several aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, and nephews.
As Marsha worked for the Florida Department of Children and Families and felt deeply affected by the impact of domestic violence on the community's children, the family is asking that in lieu of flowers that donations be made in her memory to agencies which support victims of domestic violence.
