He is survived by: his son Bobby Smedley; his grandson Michael Johns; his siblings, Charlie Johns (Carol) of Wausau, FL, Lokey Grissett (Adolph) of Panama City, FL and Shelby Hughen (Woody) of Fountain, FL.; his close friends, Peewee and Marlene Ray; and also Sandra Kay Lindsey Johns.
