She was predeceased by: her husband Noah Dewey Wright; and her son Dewey "Bubba" Dwayne Wright. She is survived by: her siblings, Shirley Greer and Willie; her sister-in-law Anne Lee; her daughters, Teresa (Mike Lambert), Deborah Wright and Penny Dance; her godson Larry Sullivan; and her grandchildren, Natasha (Ricky Spence), Angel Adams-Perez (Juan), Gabrielle (Josh Nelson), Manna (Tito McIntosh), Crystal (Sam Pittman), Dustin (Tiffany Dance), Lee (Mike Kelley), Tiger Wright, Joey (Gillis Dance), Maelee (Corey Marshall), Derek (Ryann Lambert), Kurt Lambert, James Mattingly, Andrea Skarbecki (Tabitha) and Michel Armbruster. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
