He was predeceased by: his parents, Daniel Lindsay and Beatrice Sheffield Payne (Sheffield). He is survived by: his wife Trish Speight Payne; his children, Tammy Roberts (Nick), Brent Payne (Tiffany) and Kara Stallings (Shea); his grandchildren, Kendall Huffaker (Weston), Connor Roberts (Abby), Audra Roberts, Aubrey Stallings and Sawyer Stallings; his great grandchild Havyn Huffaker; and his siblings, Dan Payne (Denise) and Barbara Shiver. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, January 14th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the First Baptist Church. A funeral service was held on Tuesday, January 14th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
