He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Grady Alderman and Mildred Alderman; his wife June Alderman; his son Michael Alderman; his brothers, Jack and Kenny Alderman; his children, Jamie Ingram, Kenny Merritt and Johnny Alderman, Jr. (Susie); his grandchildren, Kevin Ingram (Sarah), Christian, Haley, Emily, Matthew and Carter Alderman; his great grandchild Braelynn Neal; his brother Bobby Alderman (Peggy) of Jennings, FL; his nephew David Alderman (Julia) of Brandon, FL; and his brothers-in-law, Barry and Keith Kent.
