He was predeceased by: his father Jimmy Ferrell Sr.; and his daughter Jamie Ferrell. He is survived by: his children, Heather Redman (James) of Cussetta, Chris Ferrell (Ashley) of Atlanta and Luke Ferrell of Brunswick, Georgia; his mother Betty Sumner of Chipley, Florida; and his brother William Ferrell (Laura Sue) of Chipley, Florida. He is also survived by six grandchildren.
