With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Jennifer Hope Kent (Chipley, Florida), born in Dothan, Alabama, who passed away on June 7, 2020 at the age of 75. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Leonard Gilbert and Lola Gilbert. She is survived by: her husband Howard Kent; her sons, Howard Hugh Kent (Jeannie) of Bainbridge, Heath Jeremy Kent (Jessica) of Panama City and Holland Jay Kent (Vickie) of Chipley; and her siblings, Johnnie Gilbert (Elva) of Port St, Jacquelyn "Jack" Tobias (Frank) and Glenda Sue Moore of Milton. She is also survived by nine grandchildren.
Due to the constraints/danger of COVID-19 and to reduce the risk of exposure, a private family Graveside Service was held Wednesday, June 10, 2020 at New Orange Baptist Church, Chipley, Florida, with Reverend Mike Orr of First Baptist Chipley officiating. A larger Memorial Service and Celebration of Life will be held when the pandemic is over.
