It is with great sadness that we announce the death of James Ellis Nichols of Chipley, Florida, born in Hillsboro, Ohio, who passed away on June 15, 2023, at the age of 65, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, James Nichols and Myrtle Crabtree Nichols; his wife Sharon Nichols; and his brother Larry Spence. He is survived by: his children, Christine Norris (Scott), Regina Taylor (Heath), Sarah Nichols and Christopher Nichols; his grandchildren, Cheyenne Little, Kenneth Roberts (Kelly), Nathaniel Nichols, Brittany Taylor, Heath Taylor, Jr., Alan Fritcher and Alisha Noble; his great grandchildren, Hunter Colonna, Maxx Morris, Clayton Morris, Remington Roberts, Nova Taylor, Bentley Odom and Sarah Odom; and his sisters, Sharon Wigginton, Beverly Osborne and Rita Paulette. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
