It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Ida Marie Pettis of Chipley, Florida, born in Panama City, Florida, who passed away on October 29, 2022, at the age of 65, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Floyd Gay Sr. and Ida Mae Gay (McKinney); her husband James Levon Pettis; and her siblings, Floyd Gay Jr., John Wayne Gay Sr., Tommy Gay, Lois Lamb, Frankie Molinaro, Linda Barfield, Ramona Phillips and Joann Hare.
She is survived by: her daughter Stephanie Mazzullo of Chipley, Florida; her siblings, Betty Pruett (Johnny) of Ponce, Helen Nowlin (Joe) of Westville, Pat Aufenthie of Bruce, Barbara Goodman of Washington County, Florida, George Gay of Bruce and Stevie Gay of Bruce, Florida; and her grandchildren, Brianna Mazzullo, Peyton Mazzullo and Makinzie Mazzullo. She is also survived by four great grandsons; three great granddaughters and one great granddaughter on the way; numerous nieces, nephews, cousins.
