It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Howard Lamar Smith of Chipley, Florida, born in Columbiana, Alabama, who passed away on April 1, 2023, at the age of 58, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Jasper Howard Smith and Shirley Christine Wright Bruner. He is survived by: his siblings, Michael Alan Smith of Chipley, James David Smith of Prattville, Paula J. Glenn (Joel) of DeFuniak Springs and Tammy G. Smith (Billy Fincher) of Rocky Face, Georgia.. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, great nieces, and great nephews.
