She was predeceased by: her parents, John Wesley Thomas McKinnie and Bessie Charlottee McKinnie (Godwin); her mother-in-law Evelyn; her grandson Brett Bell; and her siblings, Myrtle Pollard (Sidney), Irene Pollard (Lewis), Mildred Waldron (Buster), Pansy Cliff (Johnnie), Wesley McKinnie and Willie McKinnie (Cecelia).
She is survived by: her husband Cloys Joiner; her children, Vivian Perkins (Hubert) and Curby Joiner; and her grandchildren, Jennifer Bell, April Johnson (David) and Will Perkins (Katrina). She is also survived by eight grandchildren and two great great grandchildren.
