He was predeceased by: his parents, Edgar Rackard and Ruthie Mae Rackard (McGhee); and his brother Lonnie Rackard. He is survived by: his wife Karen; his children, Jonathan Rackard (Rachel) of Tuscaloosa, AL and Amy Rackard of Bonifay, FL.; his sisters, Hazel Rolin (Ardis), Ruby Hawkins (Jerry), Dorothy Mcghee, Mary Cordes (Gary) and Glenda Carlton; and his grandchildren, Kaitlyn Hildebrand, Christian Hildebrand, Cassie Hildebrand and Peyton Rackard.
