Eleanor Mae Nixon West Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Eleanor Mae Nixon West of Chipley, Florida, who passed away on January 19, 2025 at the age of 78. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Eleanor Mae Nixon West to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Woodrow Nixon and Rosetta Nixon (Riley); her husband Billy West; and her siblings, Gilford Nixon, Milford Nixon and Wilma Nixon Richardson.
She is survived by: her daughter Alison Pitts (Aaron); her grandson Aiden Pitts; her siblings, Millard Nixon (Linda), Robbie Duren (Shannon) and Gwen Barnes (Dwan); and her sisters-in-law, Joyce Nixon, Betty Nixon Ball, Sue Collins (Bruce), Peggy West Meeks and Helene West. She is also survived by many cousins, nieces, nephews, great nieces and great-nephews.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, February 1st 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Grace Assembly (567 Main St, Chipley, FL 32428). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, February 1st 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
