It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Edwina Y. Showers of Chipley, Florida, who passed away on October 4, 2023, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, William Edward Yates and Elvie Gainey Yates; and her brothers, Charles "Chuck" and William "Bill" Yates. She is survived by: her children, Andrea Hosley and Yvette Lerner; her sons-in-law, Allen Hosley and Carroll Lerner; her grandchildren, Christian Lerner and Matthew Lerner; her granddaughter-in-law Brittany Jernigan Lerner; her granddaughter Candace Waller; her great grandchildren, Wendy McDonald (Carson), Hazel and Carma Weathers; her great great grandchild Addilyn McDonald; her sister-in-law Becky Yates; her husband Andy Showers; and also Ariel. She is also survived by nephews, nieces, and cousins.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that you donate in her name to the First Baptist Church building fund.
