He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert L. Hood and Lucy Hood (Walden); his wife Carol Hood; his siblings, Grady Hood, Leroy Hood, Edna Erickson, Catherine Reese, Myrtle Barnes and Evelyn Preston; and his grandson Jerry Lee Stall.
He is survived by: his children, Colan Hood (Melanie), Sherrie Walters (Bryan) and Telisa Stall; his siblings, Clayton Hood, Jerry Hood, Jimmy Hood, Mary Nell Barnes and Helen Cobb; his grandchildren, Kristi Walters, Brittany Lewis and Justin Stall; his great grandchildren, Peyton Lewis, Walker Lewis, Brooks Lewis, Hunter Stall, Parker Stall, Jameson Stall and Sadie Stall; and his close friend Elizabeth Myers.
