We are sad to announce that on July 1, 2024, at the age of 87, Carl Phillips of Chipley, Florida, born in Middleport, Ohio passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Though his name may fade from the lips of time, the imprint Carl leaves upon the hearts of his loved ones remains eternally vivid — a testament to the depth of his spirit and the richness of his legacy.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Carl Phillips and Virgie Phillips; and his siblings, Clarence Austin Pierce, Clara Mae Osborne and Violet Marie Vanvleet.
He is survived by: his wife Connie Phillips of Chipley, Florida; his children, Truitt Phillips of Battle Creek, Michigan and Dawn Converse (Paul) of Sherwood, Michigan; and his grandchildren, Brian "BJ" John, Lacey Mae, Seth Connor, Meredith Ann and Tasha Marie. He is also survived by 17 great grandchildren.
