It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Barbara Harrington Waddell of Chipley, Florida, born in Quincy, Florida, who passed away on October 13, 2022, at the age of 79, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was loved and cherished by many people including: her mother Catherine Harrington; her son Billy; her mother Catherine McCrary; her daughter-in-law Greer Waddell of Chipley; her daughter Barbie Pettis of Chipley; her grandchildren, Ashley Lovering (Brandon) of Chipley, Amber Peel (Colby) of Chipley, Trey Waddell (Faithe) of Virginia, Savannah Baxter (John) of Chipley and Tyler Pettis (Lauren) of Tallahassee; her great grandchildren, Mayson Lovering, Kinleigh Peel, Carson Peel, Grayson Lovering, Hudson Lovering and Abby Baxter; her nephew Rodney Pittman (Michelle); and her siblings, Wanda Freeman (David), Garvin McCrary (Margaret), Kirby McCrary (Robin), Turhan McCrary (Debbie) and Phyllis Dominigue (Jimmy). She was also cherished by many nieces and nephews.

Memorial donations may be made in memory of Barbara to First Baptist Church or Emerald Coast Hospice.
