It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Marie Cochran Strange of Chiefland, Florida, born in Gainesville, Florida, who passed away on May 1, 2023, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, James Thomas Cochran and Adell Beck Cochran; her brother JT Cochran; and her husband Russell Burton Strange. She is survived by: her children, Melissa Peltier (Gary) of Chattanooga, TN, Glen Strange (Janet) of Pensacola, FL, David Strange of Jacksonville, FL and Wes Strange (Teresa) of Pace, FL.; and her grandchildren, Clarissa Brown (Eric), Wade Peltier (Robyn), Lee Peltier (Deb), Jenna Peltier, Ali Ohler (Ben), Nicole Kelley (Andrew), Thomas Strange, Kelsey Strange, Jessica Strange, Corey Strange (Kelly) and Trevor Strange. She is also survived by fourteen great-grandchildren.
