She was predeceased by: her parents, Albert Layfield and Linnie Gay Layfield; her spouse G. C. Cannon; her grandfather Jesus; her siblings, Vernon, Ronald Layfield and Madge Layfield Jordan; and her son-in-law David Gore, Jr. (Nanny).
She is survived by: her daughters, Karen Gore and Judy Mikell (Craig); and her grandchildren, Jared Gore (Kyndal), Jason Gore (Stephanie), Tyler Mikell (Mary), Cory Mikell (Carly), Brylan, Baylor, Knox, Owen Gore, Sam, Hudson, Beau and Gracie Mikell.
A graveside service was held on Saturday, January 11th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Antioch Cemetery (9831 NW 70 St, Chiefland, FL 32626). Visitation was held on Saturday, January 11th 2025 from 3:30 PM to 5:30 PM at the Jackie's Residence.
