He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parent Ivy; his wife Evelyn Beauchamp Griffin; his grandmother Griffin; his daughter Heather Evelyn Hurtado (Dan); his grandchildren, Seth and Ivy Hurtado of Tallahassee, FL.; his daughter Carol Griffin Irby (Will); his grandson William Wright "Wri" Irby V (Kimberly); and also William "Liam" Wright Irby VI of Chiefland, FL..
