She was predeceased by: her husband B. T. Etheredge; and her son Byron Etheredge. She is survived by: her children, Bradley Etheredge (Lucy) of Homosassa, Beverly Lowe (Ricky) of Chiefland and Brenda Callen (Phillip) of Virginia. She is also survived by four grandchildren, six great-grandchildren as well as many beloved nieces and nephews.

Evelyn volunteered at the Dudley Farm Historic State Park where she donated hundreds of handmade bonnets for them to sell in their general store.
