She is survived by: her son John Thomas Burns (Jennifer); her husband Jeff Burns; her grandchildren, Lailyn Medley, Jaythen Medley, Kylie Burns and Tobias Burns; her sister Cathy Scott; her niece Misty Hale; her nephew Johnny Patterson; and her friends, Stormy and Gerald.
She was always the first to offer help or donations to local charities, especially those that benefited animals.
