It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Shirley June McGuire Arno (Chattahoochee, Florida), who passed away on November 11, 2023, at the age of 92, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was loved and cherished by many people including: her children, Jon, Mark, Norrie and Jonna; her grandchildren, Michelle, Jon, Charley, Amanda, Rachel, April and Logan; and her great grandchildren, Brandon, Liam, Laina, Keegan, Cason, Landry, Asher, Abel and Ava. She was also cherished by family, but her extended family as well, keeping up with siblings, nieces, and nephews.
She worked at Florida State Hospital as a nurse consultant for geriatric services for about 20 years; her work included working with patients with Alzheimer's, until she retired in her late 70s.
