He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Rex and Ethel Mae McBroom Padgett; his son Greg Padgett (Silva); his grandsons, Tim Padgett and Rex Donald Padgett; and his siblings, Lucille Stewart, Charlie "Bill" Padgett and Joyce Gray.
He is survived by: his children, Tommy Padgett (Marilyn), Kim Padgett, Beth Padgett, Michael Padgett (Dorislynn) and Clifford Padgett; his grandchildren, Serena Padgett, Cliff Padgett (Courtney), Rex Devin Padgett (Autumn), Lynn Padgett, Ande Clark (Andrew), Wren Andrews (Leah), Savannah Padgett and Blair Padgett; his great grandchildren, Devin Floyd, Summer Padgett, Wyatt Clark and Rose Clark; and his sisters, Bessie Lewis and Judy Mitchell. He is also survived by nieces, nephews and cousins.
Visitation will be held on Friday, May 2nd 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Faith Funeral Home Chapel (6972 Florida Georgia Hwy, Havana, FL 32333). A procession will be held on Friday, May 2nd 2025 at 1:10 PM at the Cemetery Will Leave. A celebration of life will be held on Friday, May 2nd 2025 at 1:30 PM at the Cedar Grove Cemetery.
