She was predeceased by: her parent Russell Brown; her husband Dr. Kenneth Wayne Richardson; and her son Johnny M. Ranew. She is survived by: her children, Connie Michael (John) of Fort Worth and Ronald M. Ranew of Rincon, Georgia; her brother William Brown (Ella) of Harrisburg, Illinois; her granddaughters, Melinda Michael (Suzy), Johanna Mathis and Jodi Garrett; and her great grandchildren, John Wayne Michael, Dakota Michael Tindall, Vivian Mathis, Miles Mathis and Phoebe Mathis. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
