He was predeceased by: his parents, Samuel Killam and Dora Lee Hanks Killam; and his siblings, Samuel Edgar Killam, Evelyn O. Killam and Earline Hayles.

He is survived by: his sons, John Vincent "Vince" Killam (Dawn) of Cantonment, FL and Jeffery Elton Killam (Karen) of Byrneville, FL; his sister-in-law Mary L. Herrin of Byrneville, FL; his grandchildren, Sarah Burnett, Hannah Killam, Kelby Killam and Joey Killam; and his great grandchildren, Zephyr Burnett, Zella Burnett and Raven Killam. He is also survived by other relatives, and friends.
