She was predeceased by: her husband Noah Mathis; her sons, Larry Mathis and Bubba Moore; her mother Myrtle McDaniel Moore; and her siblings, Lemmie Goodson, Ann Mathis, Mary Mathis, Walter Moore, Alvin Moore, Ralph Moore and Roy Moore.
She is survived by: her children, Brandon Mathis, Jimmy Moore (Betty Smith), Louis Moore, Scotty Moore, Betty Jackson, June Thompson and Judy Dunsford; her daughter-in-law Mari Mathis; her nieces, Kathy Simmons, Gayle Aldridge and Wendy Caraway; and her close friend Alice Kennedy. She is also survived by several grandchildren, and many great-grandchildren.
