He is survived by: his parents, Lester R. Ruth, Sr. and Lola Buchanan Ruth; his spouse Teresa Miller; his children, Lola, Teresa Renee, Charles (Chuck) and Douglas (Richy); and his sister Cynthia Harris. He is also survived by 4 children, 11 grandchildren, 20 great-grandchildren, and 4 great-great grandchildren.
