With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Betty Mae Tyson of Center Hill, Florida, born in Plant City, Florida, who passed away on August 13, 2023 at the age of 88. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, John Carl Hamrick and Lilas Bell Hurst; her husband James Melvin Tyson; her children, Lola Irene Tyson of Hernando, FL, James Clayton Tyson (Margaret) of Center Hill, FL and Raynard Keith Tyson (Jeaniene) of Center Hill, FL; and her grandchildren, David Taylor, Damon Taylor, Carla Almond, Marisa Wallen, Stephanie Davies, Amy Fussell, Jenna Brady and Brianne Baker. She was also cherished by great-grandchildren.
The family is welcoming flowers, however, if you wish to leave a memorial donation, the family is requesting that donations be made to Cornerstone Hospice or to the Alzheimer's Association.
