He was predeceased by: his parents, Oliver and Margaret; his sisters, Diane Esslinger, Wynell Hathcox and Faye Fenton; and his significant other Sharon Moody.
He is survived by: his son Marlon J. Miller (Jennifer); his grandchildren, Bryndle and Seth; his daughters, Monica Miller and her children and Renee Douglas and her children; his sisters, Barbara McJordan and Linda Mann; his stepchildren, Melissa Ross and Robert Moody; his stepgrandchildren, Daphne Shade, Kacey Ross and Paden Ross; and his stepgreat-grandchildren, Zalyee Shade, Zoyee Eberhardt and Charlie Ross.
