She was predeceased by: her parents, Alice Canty and Richard Hairston; her sons, Bertram (Tinker), Kenneth (Kenny), Kevin and George; her husband Bertram (Bert); her grandchildren, Kyle, Edelmiro (Dino) and Mary Alice Urquhart; her brother Samuel Canty (Joyce); and her children, Janice Barden (John), Karen Solomon (Greg), Dale Urquhart (Angie), Drew Urquhart and Michele Urquhart (Cara).
She is survived by: her daughter Mary; her daughter-in-law Jackie Urquhart; her grandchildren, Christina, Carol, Miquel, Gina, Quaylynn, Sharon, Kelly, Kenny Jr., Kevin Jr. (Spanky), Russell, Shawn, Cherrell, Tatianna, Christopher and Sydney; her close friend Tyrone Mitchell; and also Cathleen McClure. She is also survived by great-grandchildren, nieces/nephews, and friends; best friend.
