She was predeceased by: her parents, George Brewer Sr. and Lottie Brewer (Thompson); her husband Dove Henson; and her siblings, George Brewer Jr. and Mary Liza Sharp (Brewer).

She is survived by: her family Margret; her son Lawrence Givens; and her grandson Lawrence Givens Jr.. She is also survived by Loving Nieces and Nephews, Great Nieces and Great Nephews, Cousins.
