He was predeceased by: his father Samuel Sr. Godfrey. He is survived by: his brother Ken; his mother Vivian Williamson Godfrey; his brother Samuel Godfrey, Jr. of Mt. Clemens, Michigan; and also, Cheryl Peterson of Caryville, Florida and Spirit-Filled. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
