It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Evangelist Ernestine Works (Caryville, Florida), who passed away on December 15, 2023, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her sons, Charles A. Works and Travis D. Works; her grandchildren, Alexis and Simone; her great grandchild Jaylyn Karte; her sons-in-law, Harry L Andrews and Michael Thompson; and her siblings, Ozell Newman, Clensy Roberts, Cleveland Roberts, Caretha Roberts Jackson, Mary Louise Roberts-Vereen and R. D. Roberts.
She is survived by: her children, Carolyn J. Andrews of Caryville, Edward E. Works (Verna) of Caryville, Alvin N. Works (Ruth) of Atlanta, Georgia, Gail Works of Bonifay, Eric Works (Cynthia) of Panama City, June E. Lawson (Greg) of Dothan, Michael A. Works of Marianna and Tyna Thompson of Caryville, Florida.; and her siblings, Blanche Phillips (Clayton) of Caryville, Hiwatha Washington of Tampa, Kathleen Faison of Lakeland and Noreen Finklea. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
