He is survived by: his wife Sharon Petit (Beaudry) of Cape Coral; his children, Michelle Leon of Meriden, CT and Richard Petit, Jr.; his grandchildren, Jaime Lynn Petit, Caiden Leon and Emma Petit; his brother Paul Petit of Meriden; his sister-in-law Carol Petit of Meriden, CT; his niece Lynn Campbell; his nephew Michael Petit; his aunt Jean Petit of Meriden; and his close friends, Angel and Christina Pignataro.
