She was predeceased by: her parents, Roland Henry Griffin and Betty Lou Knight Griffin; and her sister Brenda Horne. She is survived by: her siblings, Sharon Alvarez of Clayton, NC, Robin Potts (Randy Smith) of Cape Coral, FL and Chip Griffin (Amy) of Indian Trail, NC.; her nieces and nephews, Nikki Wrench (Chris), Tabitha Miesell (Rob), Steven Griffin, Jackie Gianelli (Andy), Alannah Lail (Jason), Christian Potts (Meghan), Julian Alvarez, Kiersten Quintois, Caitlin Griffin and Cody Griffin; and her great-nephews, Liam, Jackson Wrench, Caleb Miesell (Brooklyn), Dawson and Andersyn Gianelli (Abigail).
Visitation was held on Friday, April 25th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Heritage Funeral Home - Indian Trail Chapel (4431 Old Monroe Rd, Indian Trail, NC 28079). A funeral service was held on Friday, April 25th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Levine Cancer Institute via Atrium Health, honoring Rhonda's legacy and compassionate spirit.
