She was predeceased by: her parents, Catherine "Jerry" Hughes and James Gayland Hughes; and the father of her children James Robert Young (Bob). She is survived by: her husband Franklin Henry Mathias; her children, Robert L. Young (Margaret), Deborah A. Parker (Todd), Jeffrey L. Young (Tera), Kimberly A. Young and Catherine A. Steiff (Keith); and her siblings, Shirley Clark (John), Catherine Gough, Jim Hughes (Dorthy) and Brett Hughes (Danielle). She is also survived by 9 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren.
