He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Merola and Julia Merola (Iorio); and his son Christopher Michael Merola. He is survived by: his wife Margaret Merola of Cape Coral, FL; his children, Tara Merola of Cape Coral, FL and Gregory Merola of Ferndale, NY; his brothers, Joe Merola of Cape Coral, FL and Michael Merola of Long Island, NY; his sister-in-law Lisa McLean Merola of Cape Coral, FL; his children-in-law, Ruben Cardona of Cape Coral, FL and Sarah Merola of Ferndale, NY; and his grandchildren, Anthony, Destany, Brandon, Nathan, Jayden, Caleb and Lincoln Frank Merola. He is also survived by his many cousins, nieces, and nephews.
