He is survived by: his children, Kevin Hopkins (Tunisia) of Bolingbrook, IL and Kim Ortiz (Ralph) of Cape Coral, FL; his grandchildren, Khalen, D'Anthony, Kameron Hopkins, Sofia, Emma, Olivia Ortiz and Nathan Haney; his great grandchild Makai Hopkins; and his nephews, Paul Hertzmann (Melisa) and Brad Hertzmann (Laura). He is also survived by several aunts and many cousins.
